Tina Petty

Meet Mrs Petty

My name is Tina Petty, and I have been a math teacher at Southside since the doors opened in January of 2000. Prior to that I taught at Chocowinity High School. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and my master's degree from ECU.

I am happily married to Jay Petty, one of our science teachers at SHS. I have a son who is the music teacher at CPS, a daughter who teaches math with me at SHS, and a daughter-in-law who teaches art at CPS.

I am looking forward to teaching and coaching soccer for the children on the south side of the river for one final year.
