Meredith Dixon

Meet Mrs. Dixon

My name is Meredith Dixon, and this is my 10th year at Southside High School! 

I am the Career Development Coordinator (CDC) at Southside, where I work closely with students, staff, and community partners to connect them with career exploration, internships, and post-secondary opportunities. I am passionate about preparing students for success beyond high school and helping them discover their personal strengths and goals.

In addition to my work as CDC, I am the Head Coach of the Southside Girls’ Tennis Team, where I enjoy mentoring athletes on and off the court. I am a graduate of East Carolina University (Go Pirates!), and in my free time I enjoy watching sports, and spending time with my husband Stanley (also a teacher at Southside), and my sons, Nolan and Avery.
